Estate management

We are close to all our estates, which are visited regularly by our Estate Managers. AIHA is responsible for the cleaning (either through directly employed staff or contractors), gardening, security and maintenance of all communal areas. Residents are encouraged to enjoy these, but asked to treat them with respect and consider neighbours by avoiding excessive noise.

Health and safety is a priority; all residents are responsible for keeping shared spaces clear of personal property and to not interfere with door closers, which are installed to prevent fire spreading within buildings.

I am writing to you on behalf of myself and my whole family. Firstly we are all full of gratitude and admiration for AIHA and its team for providing us with affordable housing for all these years. This allowed us to reduce our financial burden and stress and provide us with a stable and secure home. More so, about 6 months ago, we found ourselves in a fortunate position to purchase the home we have been living in for the past 8 years. AIHA assisted us through this process in every way they could and thus enabled us to continue living with our familiar neighbours. We have only praise and admiration for all the work they do. May Hashem help them to give them further help and ideas to develop all their current and future plans which, I am sure, will result in a fairer and juster society.

I previously lived under a couple of different landlords who didn’t fix problems such as mice and electrical breakdowns when they happened. Since I came here to AIHA I feel like I am in my own home. I can relax, I can decorate it the way I want and they have no problem. I can make my home as cosy as I want. AIHA has given me a good home that is affordable. I have a beautiful new kitchen with top quality flooring, which I love. I was able to choose both my kitchen and flooring from a good range of colour choices. AIHA has been very supportive and encouraged me to extend my home. The gardening is done every month and the public areas are always clean and tidy, the bushes are neat and cut.
